Since getting into production 20 years ago, Rose Sensation has committed to delivering sustainable economic growth and poverty reduction. As a natural cosmetics brand dedicated to women, we are devoted to creating job opportunities for women and minorities in our distillery in Karlovo - the heart of Bulgaria's Rose Valley. We believe in equal pay for equal work for both women and men. Over half of our seasonal workers are Bulgarian Roma women, who rely on the income to feed their families true the entire year. Roses are susceptible to planting depth. Our skilled ladies dig the plants, grow, trim, and pick the petals by hand.
What makes us different from other cosmetic brands using rose oil is that we grow and distill our roses. Hand-picking them in harvest and turning them into natural rose "gold" for women worldwide to use as a weapon against aging and skin inflammation.
With over 120 000 square meters of rose fields, we grow USDA Organic Rose Oil and non-organic, 100% Pure, without pesticides, but only natural fertile stimulants.
We inherited this original method of growing the legendary Rosa Damascena from generations of local growers, who established Bulgaria worldwide as the finest quality rose oil exporter.
As the leading producer of the famous Bulgarian Rose Otto and Rose Water, we invest in research and innovation to empower the ecosystem and achieve agricultural sustainability. We encourage our employees to walk to the rose fields, offset our carbon footprint, and preserve the beauty of the gorgeous valley we are fortunate to have.
Rose Sensation is proud to have taken numerous steps to decrease energy consumption and does not use standard commercial cleaning agents, nor do we allow any to enter our facilities.
Paying it forward
We believe in education and chose to focus on reducing waste. Better education is essential for the young generation. Our distillery and manufacturing facilities offer free courses for young professionals interested in agriculture and sustainability.
Rose Sensation is also a proud sponsor of Aneta Art Classes (Center for talent development offering design classes, crafted for kids aged 8-12). The lessons use recycled paper boxes and educate kids and young adults on leading an eco-friendly life.
